Comments:
What is the basis for your statement that the Mysore Varnishes and Paints Ltd becoming a Public Sector undertaking in 1947 ? If in 1937 Mysore was a Kingdom then in 1947 also it was still a Kingdom. ( It merged with India, on India becoming Republic in 1950). But it never was a private property of Maharaja of Mysore. It was a state enterprise in 1937 and remains one even today, just that the system of Governance has changed with time.
